Romans 8, A Beautiful Chapter for us as Believers in Jesus

Romans 8 (KJV)
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Give it all to Jesus when your world is crumbling down

I am writing this tonight because to be honest, I am hurting so much and I don’t have really anyone to share with other than God tonight honestly.

It’s a pain that I can’t explain. I don’t blame God, it’s not His fault. I’m just bummed and tired of the stress and the pain and the worry and anxiety and everything.

I don’t know what else to say, just know that if you are going through hard times, give it to Jesus. At least we know He loves us and is willing to help us out of our pit and care for us when we are down, you know?

Psalm 55:22 (KJV)
22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

A Psalm Verse That Comforted Me

Psalm 55:22 (KJV)

22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Nothing to worry about, just look straight on and remember that as believers that Jesus won’t leave or forsake us. Thank you Jesus for being there! Love you Jesus!

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Abandon The Past and Focus on the Lord!

I am saying this to myself too:)

Whoever might ever stumble upon this, just know that Jesus does love you regardless of what it looks like, and try as I try to remember that since He died for us, that must mean that His love for you and me is greater than we can imagine.

1 John 5:10-13 (KJV)

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Prayer Please If You Have Time

I don’t know if anyone will read this, if you do, please pray that God would help me I am scared to start driving again but my father is helping me, and I am shopping for a car as well.

Please pray for me that God would be with me in the car every time and that God can fix my life this year and get me back on track and figure out everything. I am not perfect and I have made a lot of mistakes. I should be way farther along in my life for being in my early twenties.

Thanks and I appreciate you so much!

Use Other’s Greed As Motivation

When I was a little boy, not too long ago, life was a lot different than it is now.

My father made a lot of money as a second-generation factory worker making parts for a large automobile company.

However, around 2008, the factory shut down, and my family has been struggling ever since. A similar story of many in America, and around the world.

My father made $7 an hour or so when he first started at this factory in the seventies, which counted for inflation is double what I make at my job, and I am older than he was when he started this job at the factory.

It’s a shame that greed in this country has led many younger people like myself wondering with very high college prices, and with most of these manufacturing jobs gone, what is there left?

But I think that if I would have had it easy like my father did, coming out of high school too and making big money, I wouldn’t have ever gotten saved, because my life would have been easy. I wouldn’t have even thought of Jesus.

But because of my mistakes, and my failures, and me and my parents going through what we are going through, it makes me not forget about Jesus. And it wasn’t a difficult decision to accept Him alone for my salvation to begin with, you know?

I am not as soft as I would have been. I am not afraid to admit I cry a lot, it hasn’t been easy for me. I know though that Jesus is all I have, and all my chips are on Him.

I’ve been broke, I’ve been suicidal, I’ve had people give up on me. I have made more mistakes than I could ever imagine. But somehow I am writing this today by God’s grace, and Jesus never gave up on me.

Who cares about rewards? Who cares about money or status or any of that junk?

All I want is Jesus to be my best friend, He understands my struggles and knows me better than anyone else. I need to work on that more, I know I do.

I want too that other believers could come here and be encouraged, and more importantly that people that aren’t saved could stumble upon this site and receive God’s free gift of salvation.

Please pray for me today if you read this, and thank you so much for taking your time to read this. I really appreciate it. Thank you very much 🙂

And YOU Keep Pushing, And Keep Going… Never Stop!!

Listen to this, if you are saved, you already are a child of God.

Who cares what others think of you? Because of Jesus blood on that Mercy Seat in Heaven, you already are clean and perfect in God’s sight.

Overcoming Worries and Fear – With Jesus!

If you are reading this, you may struggle with worries and fears too in your life.

It can be crippling for me at least at times, and I just wanted to give you some tips on what I do.

  • Pray to Jesus and focus on Him, as hard as it may be
  • Think of heaven and what it will be like being there with Him
  • Read encouraging scripture like Romans chapter 8, Philippians 4, maybe even some Psalm chapters when David was going through difficult times.

If you need prayer, feel free to comment and I will pray for you, I know that can be extremely difficult in this world not to worry and get fearful, whether about your past, or the future, or the present, whatever it might be. We all still sin here and I hope this will encourage and help someone out there today.

Jesus loves you!!

Psalm 34:1-6 (KJV)

34 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
